AutoSEOBot (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website autoseobot.io and the AutoSEOBot service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name (if provided via Google OAuth), and profile picture (if provided via Google OAuth). We do not collect or store passwords — authentication is handled through Google OAuth or email magic links via Supabase Auth.

Site & Content Data

When you connect a website, we store your site URL, CMS credentials (encrypted at rest), content preferences, brand voice settings, and target keywords. Blog posts generated by the Service are stored in our database until you delete them or close your account.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, pipeline run history, timestamps, browser type, and IP address. This data helps us improve the Service and diagnose issues.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVC, or full billing details on our servers. We receive and store only your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and payment history (amounts and dates) for billing management.

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and maintain the Service, including running your SEO content pipeline.
• Process transactions and send billing-related communications.
• Send you service-related notifications (pipeline status, account alerts).
• Improve and optimize the Service based on usage patterns.
• Respond to your support requests and communications.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your content or data to train AI models. Your content is processed only to generate and publish articles as part of the Service.

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session. These are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.

We may use analytics cookies (such as privacy-friendly analytics tools) to understand aggregate usage patterns. These do not track you across other websites and do not contain personally identifiable information.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encryption at rest for sensitive data (API keys, CMS credentials), and Supabase Row Level Security to isolate user data.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (e.g., billing records for tax purposes, which may be retained for up to 7 years).

Pipeline logs and anonymous usage analytics may be retained in aggregate form indefinitely for service improvement purposes. These do not contain personally identifiable information.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Delete your account and all associated personal data.
• Export your content and data before account deletion.
• Object to processing of your personal data for certain purposes.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these countries. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this policy.
